Northeast Equine Veterinary Service is a privately owned, ambulatory large animal practice serving northeast Ohio. Built on strong community roots and practical medicine, we provide thoughtful, reliable care with a strong commitment to trusted client relationships.
Northeast Equine Veterinary Service was founded by Dr. Jessica Bittner and Dr. Bryan Elliott to meet the growing need for experienced and dependable veterinary care in northeast Ohio. We bring over 25 years of combined experience providing care to horses and livestock.
Our practice was built with the simple goal to deliver care that is practical, responsive, and rooted in strong client relationships. We provide good medicine and show up when our clients need us. We offer comprehensive large animal care, advanced diagnostics and treatment on farm, and we are widely known for our expertise in equine reproduction. We are proud to serve the equine, livestock, and agricultural communities we live and work alongside.
Although spring still seems far away, the new year brings new babies and horses to breed. We are accepting new breeding clients in 2026. We offer comprehensive equine reproductive services completed solely by experienced veterinarians. Whether you manage a breeding program or are breeding a mare for the first time, we provide calm guidance and dependable support throughout the season. Breeding your mare is an exciting and stressful time. After confirming pregnancy we will guide you through the next year to ensure your mare has the appropriate healthcare during gestation as well as a healthy foal.
